Employers across the region can now benefit from a new funding opportunity designed to support the recruitment of young people into sustainable employment.

The Youth Jobs Grant offers £3,000 per eligible young person hired, helping businesses offset the costs associated with recruitment, onboarding and training.

Alongside financial assistance, employers will also receive support through Jobcentre Plus, including candidate sourcing and matching services, making it easier to find suitable young people ready to enter the workforce.

Who Can Apply?

The grant is available to employers of all sizes and across all sectors who are creating genuine employment opportunities for young people.

Eligible Roles Must:

• Be genuine paid positions
• Provide a minimum of 25 hours per week
• Last at least 4 months
• Pay at least the National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage
