Supporting Employee Mental Health: Free Webinar for SME Employers

Looking after employee wellbeing is becoming an increasingly important priority for businesses of all sizes. For many SMEs, however, accessing specialist mental health support can be challenging.

To help address this, employers are invited to attend a free online webinar introducing Able Futures, a Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) funded mental health support service available to employees, apprentices and self-employed individuals across England, Scotland and Wales.

What is Able Futures?

Able Futures provides up to nine months of confidential mental health support at no cost to eligible individuals. The service is designed to help people manage common mental health challenges, including:

  • Stress
  • Anxiety
  • Depression

The support aims to help individuals stay in work, improve wellbeing and build confidence in managing their mental health.

What Will the Webinar Cover?

During this short online session, attendees will learn:

  • What Able Futures offers
  • Who can access support
  • How employees can access the service directly
  • How SMEs can signpost staff to the support available

The webinar is particularly relevant for SME employers looking to strengthen support for their workforce and understand the free resources available to their employees.
