Uni Of Chester – Employer Engagement Initiatives

Uni Of Chester have introduced their suite of employer engagement initiatives, providing opportunities for you to engage, recruit and connect with students and graduates at the university.

You may wish to promote your employment opportunities through their Vacancy Advertising service, whereby you can promote part-time and graduate level roles at no cost through their CareerHub platform. Workplace Experiences are the collective of employer-hosted experiences consisting of paid placements, internships and project scholarships designed to help students and graduates become more employable.  Funding is available to you, should you be interested in being an internship host.

Employer in the Foyer events invite employers on-site to engage with students face-to-face to promote your part-time and graduate jobs, graduate recruitment schemes and internships. Their Get a Graduate Job Scheme enables employers to recruit University of Chester talent to permanent, graduate-level positions within your organisation, with the dedicated help of the team to advertise your vacancies and help you develop brand awareness on campus through a low-risk recruitment.

Additionally, Employers in the Curriculum offers different pathways for employers to work with students within their programme of study. From 15-minute Careers Soundbites to Active and Authentic Learning, employers can share their employment opportunities, knowledge and expertise and complement teaching programmes as key influencers on students’ future career choices.

If you are passionate about nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs, you can get involved in their Venture Programme as a speaker, mentor or judge to share your skills, knowledge and experience with their students and graduates as they start their own business journeys. If you are interested in supporting the Venture Programme contact Amber Gaffoor – venture@chester.ac.uk.

Please see the Working with You brochure for further details on these schemes, as well as other opportunities available to you to work with the university.

If your organisation is interested in getting involved in their initiatives, please email them at employers@chester.ac.uk.
