Cheshire and Warrington LSIP is pleased to announce that it has signed the Get the Nation Learning Charter, joining a growing national movement of organisations committed to promoting lifelong learning and expanding opportunities for people of all ages.
The charter is part of the Get the Nation Learning initiative, led by the Learning and Work Institute, and sets out three key commitments:
- Recognise the many benefits of lifelong learning for individuals, society, and the economy
- Commit to building a future where everyone can learn throughout life
- Lead by example – setting goals, measuring progress, sharing success, and guiding others
By signing the charter, Cheshire and Warrington LSIP is pledging to uphold these principles across the region, working closely with employers, providers, and learners to ensure that lifelong learning is accessible, inclusive, and impactful.
Get the Nation Learning Week: 3–7 November 2025
This year’s Get the Nation Learning Week will take place from 3 to 7 November 2025, featuring a range of activities including the Get the Nation Learning Awards. The week will celebrate the power of learning through events, case studies, and campaigns that highlight its impact on individuals, communities, and businesses.
“Signing the Get the Nation Learning Charter is an exciting milestone for Cheshire and Warrington. We see every day how learning transforms lives—whether it’s building confidence, opening doors to new careers, or strengthening our local workforce. This charter is about making those opportunities available to everyone, and we’re looking forward to working with our partners to make that vision a reality. With Get the Nation Learning Week approaching, it’s a great moment to celebrate the outstanding learners and providers across our region.”
